CHRISMONS™ ornaments were originate and first made for use on the Christmas tree of Ascension Lutheran Church in Danville, Virginia, in 1957 by Mrs. Frances Kipps Spencer, a church member. The designs are monograms of and symbols for our Lord Jesus Christ. Because these designs have been used by his followers since biblical times, they are the heritage of all Christians and serve to remind each of us regardless of denomination of the One we follow. All Chrismons™ ornaments are made in a combination of white and gold to symbolize the purity and majesty of the Son of God and the Son of Man. The pictures were great in helping me understand the directions. The only other improvement would be at the beginning how many beads and what sizes were used. So, that I made sure I had enough before starting the design, or if using smaller or larger beads I could keep the ratio of size the same. It is a great book if you need to make new or replace chrismons.Product details

Easy instructions
Product is exactly what I needed.
We haven't started yet but the designs of some of the Chrismons are more detailed than I realized. The directions are clear so I think it will be helpful.
I was disappointed that it did not appear to have patterns for miniature Chrismons, which is what I had wanted. The pictures on the cover looked identical to the miniature Chrismons a friend made for me but my friend lost her patterns during a move. If you could recommend a book with miniature directions, my adult Children would like to continue the miniature Chrismon tree for their children. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
This book was bought for our Church to continue making Chrismons for our Christmas tree used in our Santuary. I spoke with the woman in charge, and she said the book was very helpful. Thanks.
